深圳という都市は「山海連城計画」という、街と山と海を緑でつないでいくというコンセプトで計画されている。
つまりこの場所に住まう人々にとって、緑とは自らの街を形成する特別な要素のひとつなのである。
“CITY & NATURE”と題した本計画では、都市の中の自然の在り方の表現方法を模索した。
具体的には、全ての緑を金属格子によって内包させ＜格子越しに見える緑＞を考案。
都市に溶け込み、自然とつながっていくような深圳らしさを感じられる居場所を目指した。
Shenzhen is planned under the concept of the “Mountain-Sea City Integration Plan,” which seeks to connect the city, mountains, and sea through a continuous green network.
For the people who live here, greenery is therefore one of the defining elements that shape the identity of their city.
Titled “CITY & NATURE,” this project explores how nature can be expressed within an urban environment.
All greenery is contained within metal lattice structures, creating a condition in which vegetation is perceived through a filtered layer—green seen through a grid.
The aim is to create a place that feels inherently Shenzhen—one that seamlessly blends into the city while maintaining a continuous connection to nature.
