日常と非日常との間を行き来する光庭を持つ家――
茶室とは元来、俗塵を離れた非日常的空間。
匿名性の高い空間を作るという行為は、茶室から由来された数寄屋建築の最大の要素であり、これは現代住宅におけるプライバシー性を確保することに繋がる、日本独自の建築的手法でもある。
本計画では、視線の抜け/遮りを建築的に操作することで、数寄屋が本質的に持つ＜匿名性＞という要素を持った空間をデザインすることを試みている。
A house with a light court that mediates between the everyday and the extraordinary —
Traditionally, the tea room is an extraordinary space, removed from worldly distractions.
The act of creating a space of high anonymity is one of the essential principles of Sukiya architecture, derived from the tea room. This uniquely Japanese architectural approach also resonates with the pursuit of privacy in contemporary residential design.
In this project, by architecturally orchestrating the penetration and obstruction of sightlines, we attempt to design a space that embodies the inherent “anonymity” fundamental to Sukiya architecture.
