The proposed concept is “THE LIVELY LOUNGE” — a lively yet refined lounge space.
The client’s primary requirements were to create a restaurant centered on private rooms while maintaining a lively atmosphere.
To reconcile these seemingly opposing conditions, multiple BOX elements are distributed throughout the interior, creating a spatial composition in which spaces enclosed by the BOXes (semi-private areas) coexist with spaces contained within the BOXes (private rooms).
The BOX walls are articulated with porous, randomly arranged lattice screens. While gently connecting the overall atmosphere of the hall, these screens also maintain an appropriate level of separation between guests.
Through these design strategies, the space achieves a lively and unified ambiance, despite being composed of a sequence of private and semi-private rooms.
